Your knowledge comes with you.

Capture a thought on the move, read a note, find what matters again. The same HTML vault, with its own mobile interface. The free companion app is available from the App Store.

01 · On iPhone

The gateway to the vault. Not the workbench.

Capture a line or use the share menu in other apps to send photos, links and other attachments to ZimeZumi. Everything arrives in your INBOX first. Your life areas, familiar folders and pinned notes are there too, with their location.

What is missing on iPhone is missing on purpose. The point is to save something quickly and without distraction. The thinking happens later on the Mac.

New in 4.7.2: the dashboard, lists, search and the path above a note show the life area by its name instead of a folder path, just like on the Mac. The app is also ready for vaults set up in English on the Mac (Knowledge, Projects, Archive) and for the ZimeZumi User Handbook that every new vault brings along.

New in 4.7: a bar at the bottom with the dashboard, life areas, plus, My Day and Pinned. My Day opens today's daily note with one tap, with the same folder, date format and template as on the Mac. And with Siri you add a note to your INBOX without opening the app.

02 · On iPad

More room for your day.

The sidebar keeps the library and your content side by side: a note next to its folder, a board next to its sources. On iPad you can edit supported boards with pen, shapes, text and selection, and save deliberately.

If a board changes elsewhere while you are editing, you can keep your work as a separate board copy.

03 · What is different on mobile

Read first. Edit deliberately.

Notes open in reading mode; “Edit” lets you change unprotected text notes on purpose. Full board editing, the Colour Lab, Finder access, media libraries, the desktop import range, the AI text actions and MCP belong to the Mac. On iPhone, boards remain reading views.

Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and an accessible vault folder in the Files app. If your vault sits in iCloud Drive, Apple handles its availability across your devices; download cloud files beforehand for offline use.

One vault. The same everywhere.

The same folder structure on Mac, iPhone and iPad, with a different feature set per device. Synchronisation comes from the file service you choose, not from a ZimeZumi cloud.
