ZimeZumi 4.7. Complete.
With 4.7, ZimeZumi is complete: your AI writes along in the note and finds precisely in your vault, Markdown stays Markdown, and images sit beside the text.
Mac 4.7.2
iPhone and iPad 4.7.2
Not built in two weeks.
4.7 is a milestone for me. ZimeZumi has grown over years, from a small helper into a vault of open HTML files. AI only became part of building it with version 4.0. Since then I get through my roadmap in weeks instead of months.
Yes, it is one note app among many. The difference lies in the details you don't see. For me, ZimeZumi replaced Obsidian a long time ago, and that is exactly what I wanted: a little brother built on HTML.
With 4.7, the last step of the roadmap I set for myself is built. This is the ZimeZumi I wished for. Nico
What 4.7 brings.
Four big additions for the Mac. The details are in the features and in the A–Z index.
New in 4.7.2: Every new vault now comes with the complete ZimeZumi User Handbook in the INBOX, with pictures. Set it up in English and the life areas are Knowledge, Projects and Archive. Search shows each note's life area instead of a folder path, Settings show your home folder as ~, and short dates look the same everywhere. Dialogs and the sidebar menu now respond right after start. On iPhone and iPad, 4.7.2 shows the life area by its name, too: in the dashboard, lists, search and above each note. Using one vault on several Macs? Update them all to 4.7.2.
New in 4.7.1: Knowledge blocks and tables have rounded corners. Table columns follow their content, short tables stay narrow, and tables without borders keep the same layout. Life area colours in the sidebar and headings are more vivid.
Your AI writes along.
Select a paragraph and have it rephrased, shortened, expanded, corrected or summarised. Or say in a line or two what you want. The draft sits above the original, and you decide.
With Claude Code or Codex and your Claude or ChatGPT plan. No API key.
Your AI finds precisely.
Through MCP a connected AI client now searches inside your notes and gets only the matching sections instead of reading whole notes. Archive folders stay out of it.
Markdown stays Markdown.
A .md file becomes a block in your note: readable, searchable and linked to the original, which stays in your project folder. A double-click in a media library opens the quick view.
Notes like pages.
An image on the left or right, the text flows beside it. With centred headings and tables without borders you lay out notes as visually as you need them.
After the 14-day trial the AI text actions need a licence.
Three new things. Half a minute each.
Short films with sound, in English, with subtitles you can switch on. Shown on ZimeZumi 4.7 for the Mac.
The foundation before it.
From 4.6.0 to 4.6.6, the ground that 4.7 builds on took shape.
What comes after that.
The big roadmap is built. What comes now are wishes from everyday use.

Planned, with no fixed date. Scope and order may change.
Always the latest version.
An update only replaces the app. Your vault stays where it is: as HTML files in your folder.
ZimeZumi is a personal knowledge space, not a medical application. The ADHD experience shapes the design; no therapeutic benefit is claimed.
